Spring Presentation  "Twin Desparados-or When Bullets Kiss"

  • Family Night is Thursday, April 24th at 6:30 p.m.Tickets $5/person with a $20 maximum/family.
  • Dinner Theater is Friday & Saturday, April 25th & 26th. Tickets $15/person.
  • Dinner served at 6 p.m. Menu: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw and some wonderful desserts. Show starts at 7 p.m

  • "Twin Desparados-or When Bullets Kiss" is a hilarious old style western radio show.Watch for some fun surprises in the show.

 

7th Annual Drama Banquet Potluck Tuesday, May 6th,  6 – 8:30 PM

Please bring a main dish, a side or dessert and your own table service. Lemonade and coffee will be provided. Everyone is welcome to join in for a fun evening of review of the season and lots of reminiscing and telling stories. Contact Robin Cline with questions.


      

 High School Choir Minimize

Cedar Valley High School Choir

Students grades 9-12 may participate in Cedar Valley's High School Choir during both fall and spring semesters. This class is geared toward those who love to be challenged musically and who enjoy worshiping God. We emphasize a "choir community" to create an atmosphere of encouragement for the gifts of others. The class meets Monday and Wednesday during sixth period.

Spring Performance

Thursday, May 8th - 7 p.m. Join us for an evening of worship in song.


      

 Robotics (Lego League) Minimize

Senior Robotics

Students age 9-14 may partiipate in an after-school robotics program during the fall semester. This program is structured as "sports for the mind," and emphasizes teamwork and problem solving skills. The team meets Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the overflow.Junior Robotics meets on Thursdays beginning in November and December from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

The team of ten students will design and build a robot using the Lego Mindstorms kit, and will create a presentation on a related topic of interest. The team usually participates in one-two judged competitions in the winter where they are evaluated on their teamwork, the quality of their presentation, the technical aspects of their robot and how well their robot performs on a stanadard playing field.

Junior Robotics

Students age 7-9 may participate in this after-school robotics program during November and December. The team meets Thursdays 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Blue Room/Library. The team of six students will design and build a robot using Lego Mindstorms kit. They, too, will participate in a competition at Iowa State Univeristy in January.
